Hintergrund zu den Bildern

Nach dem 40. Todestag von Jina Mahsa Amini wurde von Diaspora for Iran eine tägliche Zusammenfassung der Ereignisse im Iran erstellt und auf deren Instagram Acount veröffentlicht. Als Titelbild wurde meist ein ikonisches Bild aus den sozialen Medien des vergangenen Tages verwendet. Nach dem 100. Todestag erschien die Zusammenfassung wöchentlich in einem Post.  Mit diesem Vorgehen wurde die Revolution im Iran chronologisch dokumentiert. Wir danken den Machern von @diasporaforiran für Ihre Arbeit und die Erlaubnis die Bilder Ihres Acounts zu nutzen.

Background to the pictures

Following the 40th anniversary of Jina Mahsa Amini’s death, a daily summary of events in Iran was created by Diaspora for Iran and posted on their Instagram account. An iconic image from the previous day’s social media was usually used as the cover image. After the 100th anniversary, the summary appeared weekly in one post. This approach was used to chronologically document the revolution in Iran. We thank the creators of @diasporaforiran for their work and permission to use the images from their acount.
